Reliance to acquire urban ladder and Milkbasket?

Reliance Amazon ke War me Agla Mohra Urban Ladder, MilkBasket

Reliance Industries ne Corona Ke lockdown ke dauran, jitna zyada funding jutayi hai, uske peeche kaafi saare reasons hai. Lekin sabse popular opinion ye tha ke Reliance India ke e-commerce sector me ek bahut bada player ke roop me age aana chahti hai. Is sector ka size $50 Billion tha 2018 me aur ye industry 2027 tak $200 Billion tak pahuch sakta hai aisa prediction hai. Corona ke aane ke baad, pehle thoda slowdown dikha tha e-commerce sector pe, lekin abhi fir se unka growth on track hai. Abhi is sector me 3.9% ke share ke saath sabse aage hai Flipkart aur doosre number pe hai 31.2% ke saath Amazon jo bahut tezi se aage aa raha hai kyun ki unka global presence aur paisa kaafi zyada hai. Reliance ko agar is sector me ghoosna hai to usko kuch chezzon ki zaroorat thi jaise

1.     Strong Inventory of all goods across all customer requirement domain

2.     Ek strong retail chain ka backup - jiske wajah se unhone Future group ko acquire kiya hai jo India ka sabse bada retailer hai.

3.     Kuch aise naye products jo unko baaki players ke muqable me advantages de

4.     Ek apna payment system jo Whatsapp pay se unko mila hai, taaki koi aur payment app ko commission na dena pade

Ye teen targets ko achieve karne ke liye, RIL ne kaafi sare acquisitions kiye aur inhi acquisitions pe wo apna maximum funds ko use kar rahe hain. Isi silsile mein, unka agla acquisition ka news aaya hai. Ye acquisition ke target hai urban ladder aur Milkbasket. Inke baare me poora jaan ne ke liye poora video end tak dekhiye, blog ko subscribe kijiye aur post ko like, share aur subscribe kijiye.

Urban ladder

Urban ladder ek online furniture retail company hai jisne India me online furniture selling ka market ko kaafi boost kiya hai. Flipkart aur Amazon already apne apps ke zariye online furniture sell karte hai aur inke saath kaafi saare local retailers bhi jud gaye hai. Reliance ko agar competitive position maintain karna hai to unko ek trusted brand ke saath partnership karni hi padegi. Isi wajah se shayad Reliance ne Urban ladder me interest dikhaya hai. Reliance sutron ke hsiaab se $30 Million ka ek estimate rakhha hai urban Ladder ke liye. Isse pehle doosre players ke sath bhi Urban ladder baat kar chuka hai lekin valuation pe sehmati nahi baane ke wajah se deal final nahi hui hai. Urban ladder ke saath is discussion ke chalte hi Reliance ne e-medicine ka startup netmeds, fashion start-up Zivame, aur future retail ke saath apna deal final kar rahi hai. Matlab ye hai ki Reliance poore zor shor ke saath e-commerce ke market me kadam rakhne ka plan kar chuka hai.

Milkbasket

MIlkbasket apne tareeke ka pehla startup hai jo Indian consumers ke milk and dairy products ke need to meet karta hai, wo bhi subah 7 baje se pehle. Ye ek kaafi interesting proposition hai, kyunki Dairy products ka fresh hona most important hai, aur Indian jhouseholds me har subah early morning delivery karneka business model bahut hi unique model hai. Shayad yehi reason hai ki reliance ne milkbasket ko kharid ne ka interest dikhaya hai. Milkbasket ko recently $5 Million ka funding mila hai. Iske wajah se unke pass thoda negotiation ke liye time hai aisa lgta hai. Isse pehle Big basket ne $15 million ka neeche ka aluation deke Milkbasket ko khreedne ki koshish ki thi, jo successful nahi hua hai. Uske baad Bigbasket ne DailyNinja ko acquire kiya aur apne early morning subscription based delivery ko chalu kiya.

Filhaal Corona ke wajah se groceries aur eggs, milk related products ka home delivery bahut zyada bada hai, lekin isme margin bahut kam rehne ke wajah se koi bhi company ko bahut zyada fayda nahi pahucha hai. Kya ye hi reason hai ki Milkbasket Reliance ya koi badi company ko sell karna chahti hai. Kitne me deal hota hai ye to time hi batayega.

In deals se ek baat clear hai, India ka e-commerce sector kaafi interesting hone waala hai. Jaise Jio ne telecom sector me aake poora dhammal macha diya aur abhi Market leader ban gaya, uske comnpetitors bhi survival ke liye lad rahe hai, waise hi kya Retail me bhi hoga? CHances kam hai kyun ki Amazon ek bahut bada player hai aur wo bahut zyada loss ]ke baad bhi survice karneka taqat rakhta hai. Flipkart ke saath abhi Walmart ne haath milaya hai, matlab wo bhi ready is is war ke liye. Is war me aur kaunse chote companies Reliance aur Amazon aur FLipkart ke saath haath milayegi ye dekhna bahut hi interesting hoga. Lekin India ka e-commerce market bahut jald hi, ek triple headed sector me badal ne waala hai, aur offerrs ki barsaat hone wali hai consumers pe, ye saari cheezein, ek positive demand system ki taraf ishara karti hai jaha  par demand create kiya jaane ki koshish ho rahi hai, jo Indian economy ke liye bahut accha indication ho sakta hai.
